Philo Ridge Farm—a project started by longtime Vermont residents Peter Swift and Diana McCargo with support from Bio-Logical Capital—is a regenerative farm working at the intersection of agriculture, food, hospitality and research. Using ecologically sustainable practices, they graze heritage breeds of livestock, grow certified organic produce and manage 400 acres of pastureland and forests.
August Point Advisors managing partner Christophe Hille has been involved with talent recruiting and advisory work at Philo Ridge Farm since 2019, leading the relationship within APA’s dedicated recruiting practice since Fall 2021.
Over the past two years, we recruited and placed four key roles: Director of Hospitality (Spring 2022), Market Manager (Winter 2022), Hospitality Manager (Summer 2023) and Research Coordinator (Winter 2024). We continue to be a thought partner for Philo Ridge Farm as the organization transitions to a nonprofit focused on regenerative agriculture research and community development.
